User Review for Nioxin Scalp Recovery Treatment

Why is the front of my scalp breaking out in yellow flakes when i rub it?
I'm 17, female, red hair. I used to use head and shoulders a bit, then i alternated between other shampoos, now i just started re-using my Nioxin shampoo system 1, which is supposed to remove scalp impurities. a few weeks ago i noticed that when i slightly picked at my scalp i would be able to remove nioxin scalp recovery a few flakes on my scalp with my nail. ( not rly scratching at my scalp, but just rubbing it ) Now i'm noticing yellow flakes everywhere around my hair (around the fringe), and when i rub it/pick it, it breaks out into tons of yellowy flakes and it's RLY GROSS. should i continue using the Nioxin or go back to head and shoulders to get this flakes thing under control!?!i used nioxin before to help my thining hair situation but it seemed to make it much worse so i stopped. now that it has gotten more under control i wanted to try it again but now this!! i dunno if i should continue using it if its giving my baad dandruff... my hair isn't greecy or oily rly, maybe it's because of the summer heat now that it's gotten more oily? i dunno! help??
